A monumental luminous sphere of intense red light, split into two identical halves. Each half is enclosed within a metal structure made of industrial scaffolding, commonly used in construction.

Visitors can walk through the space between the two halves, immersing themselves in a corridor of light and becoming, in effect, part of the artwork itself.

Earth Divided is part of the “Earth” series, composed of three works: “Earth,” “Divided,” and “Confronted.” The series has previously been presented in cities such as Madrid, Athens, Riyadh, and Ghent, among others.

Una enorme esfera luminosa de un rojo intenso, dividida en dos mitades idénticas. Cada una de ellas se encuentra contenida dentro de una estructura metálica construida con andamios industriales, similares a los utilizados habitualmente en la construcción.

Los espectadores pueden atravesar el espacio entre ambas mitades, sumergiéndose en un pasillo de luz y convirtiéndose, de este modo, en parte activa de la propia obra.

Earth Divided forma parte de la serie “Tierra”, compuesta por tres piezas: “Earth”, “Divided” y “Confronted”, que ya han sido presentadas en ciudades como Madrid, Atenas, Riad y Gante, entre otras.
